How to Prepare for Flu Season, Boost Your Immune System

Flu season begins to increase in October, peaks between December and February, with influenza activity lasting as late as May—which means now is a crucial time for people to take preventative measures to prepare for flu season and boost their immune system.

Experts warn that this year’s flu season could be more severe than normal due to the low number of cases last year. Less than 2,000 confirmed cases of influenza were detected during the 2020-2021 flu season in the United States, according to the CDC.
